Wednesday, January 11 marks the 15th year the US has held prisoners at the Guantanamo Prison, Cuba. We will have a vigil for these prisoners and a call to Close Guantanamo at noon in front of the Federal Building in Honolulu on January 11 and another vigil at 3:30pm at the Campus Center at University of Hawaii-Manoa. Carolyn Hadfield has provided orange jumpsuits we can wear. Ann Wright will give a talk in the Women's Boat to Gaza journey at 4:30pm Wednesday at Kuykendahl Hall Room 404-so we can do the vigil before the talk. Bring any signs you have "Close Gitmo", etc.--we have a few and we can make more. The 14th year for a 30 day vigil to Close Guantanamo is under way in Washington, DC with Witness Against Torture. https://www.facebook.com/witnessagainsttorture See you Wednesday!!!
