Snow Shoe, track animals, fling fish! Help the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife at the Whitehorse hatchery distribute steelhead carcasses in the Stillaguamish valley to help with nutrient and energy enhancement projects. Meet at the Darrington Sno-Isle Library at 12:15pm. We may use sno-shoes to hike fish and put the caracasses at area streams. Backpacks, warm gear, and rain jackets available. Permission slips will be available on site or can be picked up at the Forest Service, Mt. Loop Books and Coffee or the library. More dates to come in the future. Please let us know if you plan to go! We will set up a wildlife camera to capture photos of any wildlife to where we fling the fish.
