Eileen Kutzler, Director of Financial Planning Services at Country Meadows Retirement Community, will be the featured speaker at the Walkersville Branch Library on Wednesday, January 11th, at 11:30 AM. Eileen’s topic will be Medicare: In Plain English which explains the different parts of Medicare, traditional Medicare vs. Medicare HMOs/PPOs, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Part D for drugs and the “doughnut hole”.
Prior to her position at Country Meadows, Ms. Kutzler worked in the insurance industry including nine years with AARP’s Health Insurance program, specializing in Medicare. She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from York College.
Eileen was recognized nationally with a “Best of the Best” Award from the Assisted Living Foundation of America (ALFA) which recognizes innovative programs that are creating the future of senior living in America. Since she began helping seniors apply for Veterans Administration (VA benefits), Kutzler has helped our residents receive more than $2.7 million annually in VA benefits.
