What is gauge in knitting? Why is it important? Do you have to worry about it for every project you make? In this one-day, two-hour class, we will answer these questions and also teach you how to accurately measure gauge. Along the way, we’ll also talk about drape, ease, and doing yarn substitution research online.
Pre-requisites: Students should know how to cast on, knit, and purl.
Materials/Homework: Bring a finished swatch that is 6” x 6” or bigger, made out of any yarn you bought at Spun
