Let's focus on how to cultivate gratitude as a discipline of the heart- one that requires attention and consistent practice. Through practice, giving thanks grows from the ground of one's being. Grateful feelings, once buried, can surface if we take the time to notice and reflect. A French proverb states that... "Gratitude is the heart's memory."
Why would we want to practice Gratitude?
Studies have found that the practice of gratitude can have dramatic and lasting effects resulting in better physical health, mental awareness, improved relationships with others and it promotes overall happiness.
Gratitude creates a shift in consciousness from lack to abundance.
We will discuss and talk about gratitude and we will have a hands on experience of how to use a gratitude journal as a practical tool in our lives.
We will begin the meetup with introductions, then we will move into a round table discussion around this week’s topic
